Surya is a rising star in the Tamil film industry. His performance in the recent blockbuster film The Dare to Be Anything was released in theaters. Directed by Bandiraj, the film grossed over Rs 200 crore at the box office. The film was produced by Sun Pictures.
Surya – Bala Alliance
Following this, Surya has formed an alliance with director Bala. The film is being co-produced by Surya and Jyotika on behalf of 2D Entertainment. Actor Surya has already acted in 2 blockbuster hit films as Nanda and Pithamagan under the direction of director Bala and the anticipation for the film has increased among the fans.
Shooting begins
Meanwhile, the shooting of the new film to be made in Surya-Bala alliance has started today. A huge set has been set up in Kanyakumari where filming is currently underway. The film is ready with a focus on the problems faced by fishermen. It is said that Keerthi Suresh will act opposite Surya. GV Prakash is composing the music for the film.
Surya is all set to star in the hit film Vadivasal directed by Vetrimaran. The test shoot of the film was held recently. In it, actor Surya Jallikattu along with the cowboys filmed scenes like suppressing bulls. It has been reported that actor Surya will be acting simultaneously in Vadivasal and director Bala’s film.
