Ashok Selvan made his debut with Soothu Kavvum directed by Nanal Kumaraswamy, followed by Pizzaa 2, Thegidi and O My God. Currently, he has finished acting in the film Nitham Oru Vaanam. Produced by Rise East Entertainment and Viacom 18, the film is directed by R. Karthik.
Ashok Selvan along with Rituvarma, Aparna Balamurali, Shivatha and Sivadmika have acted in it. Gopi Sundar composed the music and Vidhu Ayyana has done the cinematography for the film.

It has been announced that the film will hit the theaters on November 4, with the shooting taking place in various locations like Chennai, Chandigarh, Manali, Gopichettipalayam and Kolkata.
