The last ODI between Sri Lanka and Australia is being played today after Sri Lanka won the ODI series 3-1 at the end of 4 matches in a five-match series.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.

Sri Lanka team:

Dhanushka Gunathilaka, Padum Nishanka, Kusal Mendis (wicket keeper), Sarith Asalanka, Dinesh Chandimal, Thasun Shanaka (captain), Dunith Vellalake, Samika Karunaratne, Jeffrey Wanderse, Pramod Madushan, Mahesh Deekshna.

Australian team:

David Warner, Aaron Finch (capt), Mitchell Marsh, Josh Inglis, Marnus Lapushen, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey (wicket-keeper), Cameron Green, Pat Cummins, Matthew Cuneman, Josh Hazlewood.

Batting first, Sri Lanka lost 8 wickets for 85 runs in 24.2 overs.

Pramod Madhushan, who was paired with Samika Karunaratne for the 9th wicket, batted without losing a wicket to keep Samika Karunaratne in charge. Madhushan faced 52 balls and scored 15 runs, meanwhile Samika Karunaratne scored a half century. Samika Karunaratne, who batted responsibly as a solo batsman, scored 75 runs for the loss of the last wicket, scoring 160 runs in 43.1 overs.

Karunaratne’s responsible batting helped Sri Lanka reach at least 160 runs. However 161 runs is an easy target so the Australian team will beat it.
