by time news

Some think that it is a plan to encourage the use of the smallest airport in tourist Rio de Janeiro, others, more serious, assure that it was an “apparent hack” but, beyond the explanations, the passengers who this Friday preparing to board a flight at the Santo Dumont airport, located in the center of the city, they were surprised by the programming of porn videos that began to be seen on the screens of the air terminal.

The news of the alleged hacking began to spread, first of all, through social networks, where bewildered travelers shared images of screens inside the airport while playing videos of explicit sex.

“Looks like a lot of people missed their flights today,” one Twitter user joked; or “welcome to Aeroporno Santos Dumont,” wrote another.

There were also spoilers: “Imagine people traveling with children,” one user complained, “what a lack of respect,” another detailed without adding “what an outrage to reason.”

The operating company of the Rio de Janeiro airport, Infraero, said that the monitors that showed the porn videos are advertising screens managed by a private company, and clarified that they do not provide official information about the flights of the air station.

“Infraero took the corresponding legal actions and presented the case to the federal police,” it said in a statement.

“The monitors in question will remain off in our airport network until the company responsible for them guarantees their safety,” they added.
