Chennai: Actor Jayaram released the Tamil trailer of Unni Mukundan starrer Malikappuram. Along with the trailer released through the Facebook page, there is a note saying ‘Malikapurathamma has surrendered to Lord Ayyappa, show mercy… Surrender to you Ayyappa’. Moreover, Jairam wrote on Facebook that this dedication is my virtue.
The film tells the story of eight-year-old Kalyani and her superhero Ayyappan and is directed by debutant Vishnu Shashi Shankar. The screenplay is written by Abhilash Pillai.
The Tamil cinema world, with the highest number of devotional films released, will welcome Malikappuram with open arms. This film is again reminiscent of Tattvamasiporu, who experienced the comfort of Kananam and the purity of the mandala period while wearing black and wearing a garland and climbing the mountain.
