In response to Regev’s decision on the matter, MK Avigdor Lieberman, the chairman of Israel Beitenu, wrote on his Twitter account: “Miri Regev does not have stomach aches even with traffic jams on the roads. The shameful decision of Netanyahu and Regev is the continuation of surrendering to the blackmail of the ultra-orthodox parties at the expense of the general public. Bibi promised not to touch the status quo but as always he lied this time too. We will demand a special discussion in the Knesset and will use all the means at our disposal to reverse the decision.”
