Survey shows AfD in Saxony with 37 percent ahead of CDU – Germany

Berlin/Dresden – According to an election survey, the AfD is in the lead over the CDU in the German state of Saxony. In the survey by the opinion research institute Civey and the “Sächsische Zeitung” (Tuesday), the AfD got 37 percent and the CDU 33 percent. A month ago, the two parties were tied in the same poll. The SPD is currently at three percent and has to worry about entering the state parliament, the FDP has one percent. The Greens with seven percent and the Left with eight percent are also far behind the AfD and CDU.
