One of Surya’s digital release rights, which will be released after the theatrical release, is said to have been sold for Rs 50 crore.
‘Vadivasal’ is a film directed by Vetrimaran and starring Surya. It is known that the poster for the title of the film was released last year and the poster went viral.
Filming for the film is expected to start in July, with a leading OTD company currently owning the digital release rights for the film, which will be released after its theatrical release, for Rs 50 crore.
The film is produced by Kalaipuli Thanu and is based on the novel ‘Jallikattu’ written by CS Sellappa.
