The man stabbed his wife to death and set fire to the house, located in the Vila Nova Cachoeirinha Housing Complex, in the north of São Paulo. Juliana’s daughter, just 7 years old, was in the residence and was locked inside by the suspect. The child was saved by a family member of the victim, who lives next door. Marinho fled after the crime. Firefighters were called to the address and, after controlling the flames, they found Juliana’s body. Six company vehicles worked on the incident. Hours before the crime, the man even posted a photo next to his wife with romantic music. The lyrics said “when I dreamed of perfect love it wasn’t even remotely that perfect”. According to the victim’s family, she and Mário had only been married at a registry office for a week. The two dated for a year.
