The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported the capture of a man of Guatemalan nationality and two women of Salvadoran nationality who allegedly trafficked cocaine in warehouses that appeared to be food products and everyday items.
“A man of Guatemalan nationality and two women of Salvadoran nationality were arrested for trafficking cocaine in warehouses that appeared to contain cottage cheese and hair products,” mentioned the FGR.
The man, identified as Luis Miguel Sicaja Alfaro, was detained at the La Hachadura customs in San Francisco Menéndez, Ahuachapán.
While the women identified as: Jennifer Carolina Girón de Mendoza and Yazmín Verónica Pleitez, were captured on Los Próceres boulevard in San Salvador.
“Sicaja was transporting three plastic containers with a double bottom where he hid a portion of drugs in each one. When the two women of Salvadoran nationality were arrested, drugs were also seized from them in similar containers,” the Prosecutor’s Office reported.
