Suspected shooter who tried to shoot Trump identified

Authorities have identified the suspected shooter who attempted to shoot Donald Trump on a golf course.

According to police sources from Fox News, authorities managed to identify the alleged shooter who would be called Ryan Wesley Routh who allegedly met at the Trump International Golf Clubowned by the now Republican presidential candidate USA.

Routh was allegedly armed with an assault rifle, positioned himself approximately 300 to 500 meters from the former president, and managed to push the muzzle of the weapon through the metal fence outside the golf club, according to authorities.

The Secret Service discovered Routh in the act, just as Trump was on the fifth hole of the day, and opened fire on him, but the suspect was able to escape, although minutes later, he would be arrested.

The agents found two backpacks to the alleged shooter, in addition to a camera GoPro, and the gun was found outside the golf course.

An image of the suspect was spread through social media, who, according to his LinkedIn profile, is a man of 58 years oldattended the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State Universitybut moved to Hawaii at some point of the year 2018.

Routh added on his profile LinkedIn who is “mechanically minded” and enjoys “ideas and invention and creative projects with an artistic twist.”

On his ‘X’ account, the now detained man criticized Donald Trump, Joe Biden and some famous ones like Bruno Marsbut I had a year without publishing anything on that social network.
