DIG/ Following our article entitled “Air transport: Africa United Airlines suspended”the general management of the airline wanted to provide the following clarifications, the press release of which we are publishing in full.

« Africa United Airlinesa commercial company resulting from the fifteen (15) years of aeronautical experience of AVANTIS AVIATION & Services, a Gabonese company specializing in air transport, has temporarily suspended passenger transport for regulatory reasons, and not for “toxic links with the Young Team”, as indicated in the article published today on the website of the newspaper Direct Infos Gabon.
Indeed, since October 9, 2023, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has decided to temporarily suspend the company’s aircraft sector operations within 48 hours, while waiting for the process of modifying the Air Carrier Certificate (CTA) for the insertion of the CRJ 200 aircraft in the Gabonese civil aviation register to come to an end.
In coordination with ANAC, AVANTIS AVIATION & Services has therefore put in place an action plan within 15 days to finalize the said process which, as a reminder, has been started since January 2023. At the end, Africa United Airlines will be able to resume its flights , to the great happiness of Gabonese people for whom this company brings hope and an alternative in terms of air transport.
Created by Gabonese entrepreneurs with notable experience in the field, Africa United Airlines was financed solely by loans taken out from local banks such as BGFIBank Gabon et Orabank Gabonwho believed in this important project for Gabonese civil aviation.
