Suspicion: Hapoel fans raided the equipment warehouse of Maccabi fans

by time news

The equipment warehouse of the Maccabi Haifa fan organizations was broken into on Saturday, and the equipment inside was stolen. The suspicion is that the fans of the city rival Hapoel Haifa are the ones who raided the warehouse and took away the cheering equipment. It should be noted that the warehouse, located inside the Sami Ofer Stadium, is used by the three Maccabi fan organizations – the Green Monkeys, Inferno Verde and the Boys. “Kalvo – Haifa and the Kiryat” learned that the police have two detainees.

Update (11:50): The Israel Police stated that an investigation was opened yesterday after receiving a complaint about a burglary that happened on Saturday. The complaint shows that the warehouse was broken into and a lot of equipment was stolen from it, and in addition the burglars left black flags with drawings of skulls. The investigators of the Carmel Castle Police Station carried out investigative operations, including the use of advanced technological means, and yesterday arrested two suspects, 23 and 24 years old, one a resident of Haifa and the other a deaf resident, for committing the act. According to the findings of the investigation, the police will ask the Haifa Magistrate’s Court to extend their detention.

Update (12:06): Hapoel fans are afraid of revenge, and one of them told “Kelvo – Haifa and the Kiryat” that fans not involved in the incident received house visits from masked men yesterday. In the meantime, the Facebook pages of the green fan organizations are keeping silent.
