Suspicions of doping in horse racing: behind the scenes of the investigation

If justice releases – a little – the reins on the Rossi family, the indictments for “scam in an organized gang” and “prohibited administration of substances likely to artificially modify the capacities of horses with a view to their participation in races”, pronounced in December 2021, remain. In July, the Aix-en-Provence Court of Appeal eased the judicial review of the members of this powerful line of racehorse trainers, implicated in a case of suspicion of doping.
