The former national striker dedicated a heartfelt farewell to him along with an unprecedented photo on his social networks.

At 76, the legendary Swedish coach Sven-Göran Erikssondied this Monday after battling a long and difficult illness.

Today, seven months after that, his family announced his death through a statement.

“After a long illness, SGE (Sven-Göran Eriksson) passed away this morning at his home surrounded by family.
