Man arrested by Spanish police near Barcelona after being detained in Sweden for drug offences
A 41-year-old man, formerly resident in Malmö, was arrested by Spanish police near Barcelona on 21 November. The man was detained in Sweden for suspected particularly serious drug smuggling and drug offences. The arrest is the result of close cooperation between Sweden and Spain, and an extradition procedure will be initiated in Spain to extradite the man back to Sweden.
