Our problem remains in goal. I’ve repeated several times that Keiller has the tools of a good goalkeeper, but without confidence, he can’t play, and it won’t be here that he regains his confidence. In fact, we are wasting time with him in reserve, holding Antony and Emerson.
In the first goal, it was Edenílson, that is, the only thing he would do was cross, he wouldn’t shoot at the goal, there was no need to be under the sticks, especially in a long cross. I may be wrong, but it was a ball to go out of the goal and intercept, and not wait for someone to head it. He even made a good defense, but insufficient.
Inter still tried to equalize, but the collective error of Dalbert and Igor Gomes, and, again, Keiller, defined the game.
Dalbert cannot take a throw-in to the middle of the area and for the last man, Igor Gomes should have risked his head on the ball, or the foul, but he hesitated, and Keiller, upon seeing the foolishness of the side, should have stepped forward, and not retreated. . When the ball was divided, it was certain that Galo’s attacker would not have space to adjust himself, but Keiller gave him space by staying under the goal until he controlled the ball, and then it was too late.
Once the game was decided, the fans set the tone for this game, singing encouragement for Wednesday. Even so, I left frustrated, even with the result I expected, the team performed for something more.
Criticism continues on quality. Hulk had a single chance, and still with a splash, and he did it. We wasted chances. Bruno Henrique cannot shoot a ball that is left on the edge of the box, and we need a more effective striker than Luis Adriano.
