New Delhi: In New Delhi, the incident of ‘Swiggy’ employee refusing to ‘deliver’ mutton kuruma to a person who runs a prasad shop very close to the Hanuman temple has created a sensation.
Margat Hanuman Temple is located in the Kashmiri Gate area of New Delhi. Here, there is a snack shop called Ram Kachori Shop. Hanuman temple offerings are also sold here. This shop is located within the Hanuman temple complex, very close to the temple.
The person running the shop ‘ordered’ mutton kuruma and roti from a hotel in Karol Bagh through the Swiggy food service company.
The Swiggy employee who brought this food said that since the shop is very close to the temple, non-vegetarian food cannot be served there and asked them to come out and buy it. This resulted in an argument between the customer and the Swiggy employee.
Finally he returned without giving food. In this matter, it was said that the company fired the Swiggy employee. However, Swiggy has explained that ‘he has not been fired’.
The Hanuman temple administration called and honored the employee who said that he would not serve non-vegetarian food in the shop near the temple.
