State level swimming competitions were held at Virudhunagar Senthilkumar College. It was attended by more than 500 students from 78 schools and 28 colleges across Tamil Nadu. District Sports Officer Raja inaugurated the tournament. The tournament was held in time trail mode. VSVN for successful student-athletes. Former Secretary, Polytechnic College Narayana Murthy presented the certificate and medals. Vadakkankulam Balakrishna Matriculation High School students won the men’s and women’s rotation trophies in the schools category on the basis of points. Chennai Partition Arts College students won the men’s trophy in the college category and the women’s trophy was won by Thoothukudi V.U.C. College students also received.
