On November 16, the Horter family (Lionel, Franck, Marie-Octavie, their mother, and Marjorie, Lionel’s wife), will go to a criminal hearing before the Mulhouse court learned on Monday France Info, information confirmed to us by the public prosecutor of Mulhouse. The leaders of Mulhouse Olympic swimming will be tried on suspicion of crimes of breach of trust, abuse of corporate assets and concealment.
Club president Franck Horter has been served with a judicial review preventing him from performing his duties. The Mulhouse judicial police had opened an investigation in 2020 following an anonymous denunciation about the management of the club. In January 2022 the club had lost the exclusive operation of its training center. He was also cited in a dispute between him and Yannick Agnel, whom Lionel Horter trained, concerning the non-payment of a year’s contract, up to 60,000 euros for the former swimmer. Agnel had been right and the club ordered to pay the 60,000 euros.
Lionel Horter, the club’s coach, notably had under his orders Roxana Maracineanu, Amaury Leveaux and Laure Manaudou.
