Swiss Cup Upsets: Winterthur Edges Wettswil-Bonstetten 2-1, Yverdon Dominates Dardania Lausanne 3-0

• Winterthur struggled against first division team Wettswil-Bonstetten in the first round of the Swiss Cup, but won 2-1.
• Yverdon clearly beat second team Dardania Lausanne 3-0 despite being the better side on 75 minutes.

Wettswil-Bonstetten (1.) – Winterthur (SL) 1:2

Even under Stephan Lichtsteiner, Wettswil-Bonstetten failed to surprise in the Cup. The first division side coached by former captain Nati were a little closer than last year, when they lost 2-0 to Winterthur in the same affair.
