Perth: Dinesh Karthik, who is playing in the T20 World Cup series of India, was pulled out in the middle of the match against South Africa due to a back problem.

The T20 World Cup series is being held in Australia. The Super 12 round matches are currently underway. South Africa team won by 5 wickets in yesterday’s match against India. It scored only 133 runs. Chasing a target of 134 to win, South Africa managed to win by 5 wickets in 19.4 overs with Aiden Markram’s 52 and David Miller’s 59.

Earlier, Indian player Dinesh Karthik suffered a back injury during this match. Dinesh Karthik suffered back pain at the end of the 15th over of the second innings of the match. The physio immediately came and examined him. In the end, Dinesh Karthik left the field. The exact nature of his injury was not disclosed.

However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar confirmed Dinesh Karthik’s back pain. “I know he had some back problem. Obviously, the physio will give a report and then we will get more clarity,” Bhuvneshwar Kumar said during the post-match media conference.

Meanwhile, India will face Bangladesh in Adelaide on November 2. Dinesh Karthik will play only if he is fit within 72 hours to play in this.
