Only 50 days left for the start of T20 World Cup. This year’s T20 tournament is being held in the United States and West Indies. The organizers have started preparing long ago.
Mega has created the official theme song for this event. World Cup theme song sung by two superstars Sean Paul and Case. Grammy Award winner Sean Paul and Soca Superstar Kase have sung the theme song of the T20 World Cup together. The song was produced by Tyano Montano. ICC will also release the video footage. It will have some superstars.
Sean Paul has been working in music for over two decades and is widely acclaimed internationally. The theme of this year’s World Cup is Caribbean music. Sean Paul said, ‘Cricket has always been a major part of our culture. So, I am honored to record the theme song for the T20 World Cup. I’m a big fan of the case. This song will be a wonderful blend of Caribbean culture with some dances. The song will be ideal for establishing the bond of unity and brotherhood of people.’
Case Dieffenthaler is known as case in the world. He is the lead singer of Case The Band from Trinidad and Tobago. Case is also proud to be a part of the World Cup theme association. He said, ‘We all aim to unite the world. So, we set cricket to music, which is a very powerful medium. Sean Paul and Tyano have created something amazing. Hope, all over the world will sing this song. I can’t wait to hear this song on everyone’s lips in the West Indies and the US.’
ICC General Manager Marketing and Communications Claire Furlong said, ‘We are delighted to have two of the world’s superstars, Sean Paul and Case. We believe that music goes hand in hand with cricket festival. This time again fans can expect a song that reflects the Caribbean identity.’
ICC will release this theme song simultaneously all over the world after a few days. The T20 World Cup 2024 four-six tournament will begin on June 1. This mega event is going to be held in USA and West Indies for the first time. Where 20 teams will participate for the first time. The competition will be divided into five groups. A total of 55 matches will be played in 9 cities of the two countries in 29 days.
