England:

On the other hand, if they lose to Sri Lanka, and if Australia wins against Afghanistan in the upcoming match on the 4th, the only option is for England to leave.
Australia:
With one loss, two wins and one draw, Australia is at the 3rd position with 5 points. Australia are forced to register a big win in their last match against Afghanistan. But it is not enough that it happens. Australia will advance to the semi-finals with 7 points only if England lose to Sri Lanka in the other match. But as the results are likely to come against Australia, the team is unable to even reach the semi-finals at home.
Sri Lanka:
Sri Lanka is fourth in the points table with 2 losses and 2 wins. In ‘Group 1’ all the teams got at least one point due to rain. But Sri Lanka did not get it. Thus, even if they beat England in the last match, the chances of going to the semi-finals are very low. There is also a possibility that if Sri Lanka wins the match against England and either New Zealand or Australia lose their last league match, Sri Lanka will go to the semi-finals.
Ireland:
Ireland have just one win in four matches. Ireland’s semi-final dream was almost dashed. Even though they beat the mighty New Zealand by a huge margin in the last match, the results of the other teams are unlikely to be favourable.
Afghanistan:
4 out of 2 matches canceled due to rain; Both matches were defeated. No matter what they do, the Afghanistan team cannot think about the semi-finals.
