The city of Riobamba will host the Tae Kwon Do Ecuador-Series 1, organized by the Ecuadorian Tae Kwon Do Federation in collaboration with the Municipality of Riobamba and the Chimborazo Sports Federation.
This event will take place from March 8 to 10 in various venues around the city, with high-level competitions. In addition to the competitions, the event will also include a technical conference and an awards gala. Below is the activity program for each day:
Friday March 8: 11h00 h a 15h00: Official Weighing at the Teodoro Gallegos Borja Coliseum for the cadet, junior and senior categories, both women and men, at their different levels of experience.
16h00: Technical Conference at the Tomás Oleas Theater of the Museum.
18:00: Awards Gala in the Pedro Vicente Maldonado Hall of the Municipality of Riobamba, where the outstanding participants will be recognized and the start of the competitions will be celebrated. 08h00: Competitions at the Teodoro Gallegos Borja Coliseum, with qualifying rounds, semi-finals and combat finals for various categories, as well as the presentation of advanced Poomsae in its different modalities.
16h00 a 17h30: Weighing at the Teodoro Gallegos Borja Coliseum for the children, cadets, junior and novice, intermediate and advanced categories.
Sunday March 10: 08h00: Continuation of the competitions at the Teodoro Gallegos Borja Coliseum, with eliminatory, semi-finals and finals for the children’s, cadet, junior and team TK3 categories, as well as the presentation of recognized Poomsae and Freestyle.
