Food and monetary donations were received – the campaign will be repeated
Modernly set up, always striving to be able to cope with the large rush and demand. This is the Wasserburger Tafel. Even in the 20th year, the rush can be managed through volunteer work.
Many companies donate food, and numerous local groups help with proceeds from raffles.
On election Sunday, those responsible at the Wasserburger Tafel decided to spontaneously appeal for donations. The success showed that many Wasserburgers show great solidarity.
The campaign was a great success. It was also the first to take place in this context. “Some people came specifically to bring food, others spontaneously donated money or were very interested in the work of the food bank,” explains Andi Geiger from the food bank’s organization team.
“We will certainly do something like this again in a similar form,” Geiger is certain and thanks all donors.
