Today, Saturday, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Jalal Talabani, offered his condolences on the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, while calling for restraint. To avoid all-out war in the region.
Talabani said in a statement received by the (INA): “It is with great sorrow and pain that we received the news of the martyrdom of His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah.”
He added, “While we offer our condolences to the martyr’s family, the Lebanese people, Muslims, and the martyr’s comrades for this great loss, we call on the international community to play its legal and humanitarian role to stop this bleeding and attacks on Palestine, Lebanon, and the region.”
He continued, “We also call on all parties to adhere to the highest levels of restraint to avoid an all-out war, and we denounce these actions and crimes committed by the Zionist entity against civilians and the assassination of leaders.”
