Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov will take part in the XI Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan, Day.Az reported on Tuesday.
As stated in the publication of the chairman of the CBA on the page in “X” (formerly Twitter), from today he is on a business trip to Kazakhstan.
“As part of the trip, my speech is planned at the XI Congress of Kazakhstani financiers and meetings with the chairmen of central banks of a number of countries,” writes Kazimov.
Let us note that on November 15, 2023, the XI Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan will be held in Almaty. The event was organized by the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan with the support of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.
At the panel sessions of the Congress, heads of foreign central banks and financial institutions, representatives of Kazakh government bodies and financial organizations will discuss current issues of macroeconomic policy and the financial sector.
Let us recall that earlier this year (from February 27 to March 2, 2023) meetings were held between the Chairman of the Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov, and representatives of the central banks of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, the Agency for the Regulation and Development of Financial Markets of Kazakhstan, as well as the leadership of the Astana International Financial Center. The prospects for further cooperation and the creation of digital currencies were discussed, and experience was exchanged on general supervision of financial institutions.
