There will be a squad shake-up at FC Bayern in the summer. However, a young talent will not be part of it.
Loan player Malik Tillman from FC Bayern Munich is staying with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven. The 21-year-old moved to the Eredivisie on loan in the summer. Now the traditional club coached by former Bundesliga coach Peter Bosz has signed him permanently.
According to speculation, Tillman will bring FC Bayern a double-digit million transfer fee. The TV broadcaster Sky reports 12.5 million euros. In addition, FC Bayern is said to have negotiated a buyback option. In Eindhoven, the American international has a contract until 2028.
“Malik Tillman came to FC Bayern as a young player, has developed into a professional here over the years and has now become a top performer in Eindhoven,” said sporting director Christoph Freund. “He continues the long list of young talents who are also making their way into professional football after training at FC Bayern.”
Tillman came to FC Bayern’s juniors in 2015 from SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He played in 25 competitive games for the second team and seven competitive games for the professionals. During this time, FC Bayern won the Champions League, the European Super Cup, the German Super Cup and the Bundesliga and 3rd League championships.
