The leadership of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev pays great attention to creative youth, regularly organizes a series of concerts, implements projects, and creates conditions for unleashing the creative potential of representatives of the younger generation, Day.Az reports with reference to Trend.
On the occasion of Azerbaijan Youth Day, a meeting was held at the Philharmonic with representatives of creative youth.
Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Ayla Kerimova-Zakaria congratulated the talented youth on the holiday and wished them creative success and achievements in the musical field.
At the initiative of the director of the Philharmonic, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor Murad Adigozalzade, the young, talented and most active artists of the Philharmonic groups were awarded diplomas for their creative activities.
Among the awardees are Rifan Gahramanov, Ilkana Jafarova, Sharif Bagirov, Nazrin Aslanly, Nurlana Abdullayeva, Rufat Khalilov, Firdovsi Eyvazov and Jamala Abdinzade.
Let us recall that on February 2, 1996, with the support of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the first youth forum was held. According to the decree signed by the great leader Heydar Aliyev on February 2, 1997, this date was declared the Day of Azerbaijani Youth.
