Dolo News Agency reports that the Taliban must follow the government’s order, otherwise they will not have a job and will look for another job. Following this, female newsreaders began to follow orders, with no other option.
During the Taliban regime from 1996 to 2001, women were subjected to various restrictions and oppression. During this period, the Taliban government ordered all women to wear the blue burqa. Later, the Taliban regime was overthrown in 2001 due to the US invasion and a democratic government was established under US guidance. It was during this period that women again began to engage more in work. Following the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in August last year, the Taliban regained control there.
