Taliban security forces have killed six Islamic State terrorists in a search in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The Taliban spokesman explained this yesterday. The Taliban explained that those who were killed were those who were involved in the terrorist attacks that took place a few weeks ago. Taliban spokesman Qari Yusuf Ahmadi said that those killed were those who played an important role in the attack on the study center in which many female students were killed and the attack on the city’s place of worship.

A Taliban soldier was also killed during the search. Qari Yusuf Ahmadi stated that those involved in the violence against Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque and Kaj Institute were killed. No one claimed responsibility for the two attacks. On September 30, 53 people were killed in the attack on Kaj Institute. Most of them were female students. Seven people were killed in the mosque attack on September 23. More than 40 people were injured in the attack. The September 23 attack targeted a mosque located near the Green Zone, which houses embassies and agencies of foreign forces.

The Taliban is making moves to secure the rest of the country in order to come to power in 2021. But the UN has condemned the recent spate of explosions in the country’s capital and expressed doubts about the Taliban’s deployment. The Islamic State of Khorasan is suspected to be behind the attack against the Taliban. Six intruders were killed in two raids on hideouts. And two people have been arrested. Grenades, rifles, explosives and a car were recovered from them. This is the second operation against ISIS.
