Clashes between the two countries have been going on for several days
There have been intermittent clashes between the Taliban and Pakistan for the past several days. Pakistani media had reported a day earlier that about 8 Taliban fighters were killed in the clashes on the border. At the same time, 16 others were injured. Sources have reported that two major commanders of the Afghan Taliban, Khalil and Jan Mohammad, have been killed in the firing. According to reports, 5 people including a captain of the Pakistan Army were injured.
What is the dispute between Taliban and Pakistan
The Taliban has not accepted the Durand Line between Pakistan and Afghanistan since its inception.
