ZURICH/KABUL. More than 30,000 Afghans have entered Germany through evacuation flights and reception programs since the Taliban seized power two years ago, according to Germany’s Federal Immigration Office. A total of 400,000 Afghans are said to live in Germany. According to NZZ news, Taliban’s Immigration Minister Khalil Haqqani now wants to blackmail Germany to take back the refugees. In an extensive interview with the „Neue Zürcher Zeitung“ NZZ, Hakkani formally demands compensation and compensation.

“If Germany helps us, the refugees will return”

Taliban’s Minister of Immigration Halil Hakkan gave the following answer in NZZ to the question of what should happen for these people to return to Afghanistan: „As an Islamic Emirate, we have set ourselves the goal of improving the living and working conditions of our people in a way that will make it attractive for well-educated immigrants to return to our country and prosper. If Germany helps us improve living and working conditions in our country, refugees will have a good chance of returning to Afghanistan.“

„He will bring Germany before an international court“.

Khalil Haqqani, Taliban’s Minister of Immigration „Was it not we Afghans who contributed to the victory over the Soviet Union and thus to the reunification of Germany? Now Germany must help us Afghans. Moreover, Germany took part in the destruction of Afghanistan as part of the international coalition.” He justified his demand for compensation by saying.

Haqqani continued his words as follows: “We will bring not only Germany, but all the states of the international coalition before an international court to hold them responsible for the war there. We want to force them to pay us compensation and help the refugees return.“

Former managers should also be held accountable

In the NZZ news, he wrote that Germany contributed a lot to development aid until the Taliban came to power, and when asked, “But did most of this money end up in the pockets of former presidents?” Haqqani said, “We know we will hold Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani responsible.” “We won’t do anything to them, but they should return the money they stole from the Afghan people,” he said.

These words raised the question, “Why would the Taliban take uneducated Afghans from Turkey who fought on the American side?” when Turkey saw so many uneducated Afghans entering the country illegally, disregarding border security. (yenivatan.at)
