jpnn.comJAKARTA – Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party Habiburokhman said that former Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) politician Maruarar Sirait would be given an honorable position in his party by Prabowo Subianto.
This is because Maruarar Sirait has contributed to the victory of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair in the 2024 presidential election.
“I can’t get ahead. But the tradition is that if Pak Prabowo has militant cadres, then he also contributes to Pak Prabowo, of course he will be glorified and get an honorable position,” said Habiburokhman in Jakarta, Thursday (11/4).
Meanwhile, the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said he would discuss Maruarar Sirait’s position in the Gerindra Party in a special forum later.
“There is a certain forum about this in the party and we will discuss it because there are several other figures who have also joined the Gerindra Party,” said Dasco.
Previously, Maruarar Sirait had taken care of a membership card (KTA) to join the Gerindra Party led by Prabowo Subianto.
“The KTA is not yet, of course it is being processed, yes. Of course there are conditions, what, I have to fulfill them,” said Maruarar in Jakarta, Wednesday (10/4).
Maruarar will follow all the requirements or processes to have membership in the party.
Regarding Maruarar Sirait’s position at Gerindra, Habiburokhman said Prabowo Subianto would give an honorable position to cadres who contributed.
