Linda Mizrahi-Amzlag (40) was a beautician who gave in to her friend’s pleas about five years ago and published a romance novel she had written on the Internet. Today she is at the head of thriving publishing houses leading the romantic genre with content that sweeps away an addicted readership.
Mizrahi, married and a mother of three, served in the IDF in the medical corps and after discharge worked as a beautician. First she ran an internet blog called “The Romantic Novel”. After writing her first book, “I caught you”, she decided to publish the book independently.
To this end, in 2015, she established a new online store for selling books called “Bibox Books Online”. Initially, only books were sold on the site, but today the store also markets books by other writers, in both digital and printed versions.
In 2016, Mizrahi founded the publishing house ‘Diamonds’, whose main activity is the publishing of original romantic literature. In 2017, she founded the publishing house ‘Adel’, which specializes in publishing international bestsellers from the romantic-erotic genre.
In 2019, she established the ‘Meteor’ publishing house, which specializes in publishing international best-selling thrillers and self-help books. In addition to her work as a publisher, Mizrahi also gives lectures and writing workshops.
Sharon Zohar (50), writer and linguistics editor, was born in Ashkelon and grew up in Eilat. She is married and the mother of five children, lives in Pardes Hana. In the IDF, she served in the Communications Corps, studied communication and business administration at the College of Management, Tel Aviv branch.
In the past, Zohar dealt with the productions of festivals, television productions, and also produced fashion shows throughout the country and the world, and also managed a personnel company in Eilat for 12 years.
Zohar authored 12 bestsellers: first published short stories on the Internet. In 2016, her first book, “Love between the Waves”, was published by “Bibox Books Online”. In 2016, her second book, “Restless”, was published, which entered the time newspaper’s bestseller list in the digital-prose book category.
After the publication of her second book, she moved to engage exclusively in writing and editing. During 2016, her third book “Dangerous Move” was published and her fourth story “Deadline” was published, which entered the time newspaper’s bestseller list in the category of digital-prose books and appeared in it for five consecutive weeks.
In the same year, her fifth book “On the Runway” was published, which is mostly based on her experiences from her days as a producer of fashion shows. During 2017, “Diamonds” published her sixth book “When the Waves Get Strong”, whose rights have been acquired and will be adapted into a film or series, and her seventh book “Angels over the City”.
In 2018, her eighth book “The Truth Inside” and the ninth “Adar” were published. In 2019, the duet of the books “The Many Ways” and “Am Ela Hayim” was published, which entered the opening ten of “Junction of Books” and reached the status of a bestseller.
In 2020, her twelfth book, “Wandering Sands”, was published. The book entered the opening ten of ‘Book Junction’, reached the status of a bestseller within a week of its publication and occupied the second place in the bestseller lists of that month.
