Texas: Two-year-old Zeus from Danton, Texas has been named the tallest living dog in the world. On Wednesday, June 6, it was officially announced that the 1.046-meter-tall (3.18-foot) dog had been included in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The dog’s owner and best friend Brittany’s wish came true. Brittany’s brother Garrett gave his eight-week-old Great Zion puppy to his sister. Brittany was worried about how to raise a puppy that was unusually tall at 8 weeks. But in a short time, Zeus became a friend of Britain.

Zeus is more interested in traveling with Brittany’s brother Garrett in the surrounding area. The Guinness Book of World Records holds the dog of the same name, measuring 7 feet 4 inches. This dog from Michigan died in 2014.
