Barbecue and solidarity: UMURYANGO Fraternité & Solidarité celebrates the Burundian diaspora in Denderleeuw
Denderleeuw ( Belgium, Flandre ) 17/06/2023 – A barbecue organized by the social group UMURYANGO Fraternity & Solidarity, in accordance with the foreign policy of Burundi and the Burundian diaspora, took place this Saturday. The event was marked by the presence of the much appreciated ambassador of Burundi, Amb. There is no Thérenceof bourgmestre de Denderleeuw, M. Jo Fonck , as well as other personalities from the diaspora. The atmosphere was there with the participation of the drumming group VUMERA Club. The members of UMURYANGO Fraternité & Solidarité knew how to welcome and delight all the participants.
During this day, Ambassador Ntahiraja also had the opportunity to discuss with a member of the diaspora on the project to set up a cardio-thoracic center in Burundi…
