Leaders of political parties representing the Tamil-speaking people are meeting in Colombo today.
It is a meeting between the leaders of the Tamil and Muslim parties with the aim of working together to win the aspirations of the Tamil and Muslim people.
At the same time, the meeting is said to have been attended by a large number of parties representing minority parties.
The first meeting between Tamil Muslim parties took place in Jaffna last month. Apart from the Sri Lanka Tamil National Party and the Tamil National People’s Front, other parties also participated. It was decided to hold this meeting with the participation of all party leaders.
It is said that the second phase of the meeting will be held in Colombo today and it has been arranged by Relo.
