Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai left for Delhi early today.
As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the DMK is in talks with its alliance parties regarding seat allocation. Also, the Election Reporting Committee is meeting the people and asking what their demands are. AIADMK’s election manifesto committee has also started meeting people. Parties including BMC and DMD are engaged in talks regarding the alliance. BJP is also gearing up to face the Lok Sabha elections along with BAM, DMD, OPS and DTV Dhinakaran.
In this context, 12 former AIADMK MLAs are joining Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of BJP National President Natta. It seems that Home Minister Amit Shah has ordered BJP state president Annamalai to come to Delhi to attend the event. Annamalai then left for Delhi early today.

After that, it is said that he will meet BJP National President JP Natta, Home Minister Amit Shah and other important leaders and discuss the Lok Sabha elections. It is also reported that he will return to Chennai later tonight.
