Chennai: Tamil Nadu BJP president Anna Malai left for Delhi yesterday. It is said that he is going to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi and complain about the killing of an army soldier and Erode by-election irregularities.
On the 21st, the BJP held a hunger strike and candlelight rally in Chennai to condemn the Tamil Nadu government for the murder of soldier Prabhu from Bochampalli area of Krishnagiri district and the attack on the house of the state president of the BJP-listed unit Tada Periyasamy.
Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai participated in this and announced that Rs 10 lakh will be provided by the BJP to the family of the slain soldier Prabhu. Following this, he met the Governor of Tamil Nadu RN Ravi and submitted a petition demanding action regarding the soldier’s murder case. In this case, Annamalai suddenly left Delhi by plane yesterday morning.
Annamalai is going to Delhi to meet Home Minister Amit Shah there. At that time, he is going to talk about the murder of an army soldier in Tamil Nadu. Annamalai, who has been appointed as joint in-charge for the Karnataka elections, is also going to consult Amit Shah in this regard. In Erode by-elections, there are allegations of widespread distribution of cash and gifts to voters. Amit is going to inform Shah about this too.
