Grandmaster Sethuraman of Tamil Nadu has won the ongoing Chess Olympiad in Mamallapuram.
He participated in the C division of the India Open team in the Chess Olympiad series and won it amazingly.

Sethuraman, playing against Icelander Hans, beat him on his 36th move.
Similarly, in the women’s category, Vandika Aggarwal, who played in the B division of the Indian women’s team, won. She defeated Indonesian opponent Sukander on her 45th move.
Pratyusha Boda, who played in the Indian Women’s C category, also won.
