Prime Minister Modi is the most heavily guarded figure in India. Therefore, wherever he has to go in the country, the concerned state government should take responsibility for his security.
For that, wherever the prime minister is planning to go, the relevant information will be informed in advance to the concerned state government and the police department and approval will be obtained. After that, the Prime Minister’s itinerary will be finalized.
Just like that, a few months ago, the state government and the state police department were informed about the Prime Minister’s desire to come to Pasumpon for Devar Jayanti.
But, when Prime Minister Modi visits a critical place where up to five lakh people gather at a time, there will be a security threat.
The Tamil Nadu government has informed the Prime Minister’s Office and the Central Home Office that the Prime Minister may avoid coming to Pasumpon on the specified day.

This is why the Prime Minister’s plan to visit Pasumpon on Devar Jayanti was abandoned. That’s the thing, which has now been leaked and turned into a controversy.
Prime Minister Modi wanted to give Muthuramalinga Devar the respect given to other freedom struggle martyrs; He was coming to Pasumponn just for that.

DMK members feared that if this happens, the BJP will become politically stronger. In other words, the people of the three ethnic groups will start appreciating Prime Minister Modi, DMK members have become nervous.
For that reason, they planned to avoid the Prime Minister from coming to Pasumbon, citing the security threat.

In fact, the triumvirate is angry with the DMK government for not allowing the Prime Minister to attend the Jayanti celebrations of their ideal leader.
