Former AIADMK Minister Jayakumar responded to the party’s president Anbumani Ramadoss talking about the AIADMK in the General Committee of the Proletarian People’s Party, saying that the issue has turned into a conflict between the two parties. Will this affect the parliamentary election alliance accounts?

A general committee meeting of the Proletarian People’s Party was held on New Year’s Day. Speaking at the meeting, party leader Anbumani Ramadoss said, “AIADMK is divided into four. People have severe criticisms on DMK. We are next. All others are just noise.”

It is this speech of his that has made the AIADMK agitated. Speaking to the media on Monday about this issue, former AIADMK minister Jayakumar said, “Can we forget the ladder we climbed? If not for Jayalalitha, Bhamaga would not have been known.”

He also said, “The BJP got recognition only because of Jayalalitha’s alliance. Before that, the party had no recognition. In the 1991 assembly elections, the BJP got only one seat. After that, it did not get a single seat in the parliamentary elections.
