Neet Results 2022 for medical courses will be released today evening. The National Examinations Agency (NTA) is going to release the examination results of about 17.78 lakh students who appeared in the NEET examination today.

Examination in Tamil : NEET exam is conducted in 13 languages ​​including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Urdu, English and Marathi. Out of a total of 1.32 lakh students from Tamil Nadu who participated in this year’s examination, 32 thousand wrote the examination in Tamil. This number is about 62% higher than last year.

Declining pass rate: While the number of students appearing in Tamil has increased, the pass rate has fallen. A total of 1,32,167 students appeared for the examination in Tamil Nadu and 67,789 (51.2%) passed the exam. Last year, Tamil Nadu’s pass percentage in NEET was 57.4%.

The NEET entrance exam for MBBS was held on July 17 at more than 3,800 examination centers in a total of 497 cities across the country. 18,72,343 candidates applied and 17,78,725 appeared for the exam across the country. 32 lakh people participated in the examination held in 18 cities including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy in Tamil Nadu.

With the results of the NEET exam now out, students will be interviewed for a total of over 91,000 MBBS seats in 612 medical colleges and 26,773 BDS seats in 313 dental colleges across the country. MBBS, BDS total seats, 15% is all India medical quota. 100% seats in central institutes, seats in central universities, admissions to medical seats in universities like AIIMS/JIPMER will be under All India quota.
