The statement said, “Due to the prevailing atmospheric downward circulation and warming over King Gulf and inland Tamil Nadu, 06.04.2022: Light to moderate showers with thundershowers are likely at two places in Tamil Nadu, Puthuvai and Karaikal.

07.04.2022: South Coastal Tamil Nadu districts, Western Ghats districts, Delta districts and adjoining districts will experience light to moderate rain with thundershowers at one or two places in Puthuvai and Karaikal.

08.04.2022, 09.04.2022: Light to moderate showers are likely at two places in Tamil Nadu, Puthuvai and Karaikal.

10.04.2022: Light to moderate rain is likely at one or two places in southern Tamil Nadu, Western Ghats, Delta districts and Karaikal.
