ISLAMABAD: In debt-ridden Pakistan, bananas are sold at Rs 500 per dozen.

In our neighbor Pakistan, which is suffering from economic problems, the prices of various food items have increased to an unprecedented level. Not only that, the country is struggling with high inflation.

Tomato, wheat flour, potato, pulses etc. prices are increasing. At the same time, the prices of chicken curry, chilli powder, mustard oil, garlic and onion have fallen.

Out of 51 food items, 26 items have increased in price. The price of 12 commodities has decreased. A national television reported that the price of 13 products has remained stable.

And in that country, a dozen bananas are sold at Rs.250 to Rs.500. The price of banana rose by 11.07 percent in the last one week.
