Countries like Germany have developed a ‘concept’ of six months of study and six months of vocational education. Thus, students are made professional when they come out after completing their studies.

Kalvium, a startup company, aims to bridge this gap between classroom knowledge and career skills. Lack of employability among university graduates The gap between academic learning and on-demand employability is the biggest hurdle in Indian education. As a result, many ‘newbies’ are stuck in low-paying, low-skilled jobs after graduation.

Scholarship

The startup has developed a four-year program to earn income while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science with an accredited university. In which students are trained before graduation.

In the first year students receive rigorous training in their relevant professional skills. In the next three years they train as remote software developers with leading technology companies along with their academic training. It helps to get a minimum monthly stipend of Rs 15 thousand.

Students from countries belonging to India, Middle East and Africa can join this program.

It will help you earn an annual salary of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 40 lakh after graduation.The startup charges a fee of 10 percent of a student’s annual salary in the first year. But students have to pay the fee only after graduation.

A startup called ‘Kalviyum’ launched its first B.Tech batch of 34 students in 2021 in association with Lovely Professional University. By 2024, it plans to tie up with more than 10 Indian universities and create more than 500 students.
