Also, traffic congestion increases as it is a connecting area of ​​major roads. Keeping this in mind, a double-decker flyover was constructed at Vijaya Nagar junction.

On the road from Vijaya Nagar to Tambaram, the railway flyover starts at a distance of 250 feet from the point where the flyover ends. After the construction of the flyover, 250 feet of the main road was blocked.

Due to this, the people of Ram Nagar, Vijaya Nagar, Dansi Nagar, VGP, Selva Nagar area have to travel 1.5 km to go to school and buy ration items.

Also, vehicular traffic to shops also increases. The construction of the flyover has not eased the congestion.

Due to this, the people of the area demanded the construction of an automatic footbridge with an electric gun at a distance of 250 feet.

Accordingly, an estimate of 25 crore rupees has been prepared for the construction of the flyover. The report has gone to the government.

Officials of the highways department said that if the approval is received, the construction of the flyover will begin in a couple of months.
