CHENNAI,– ‘Master’s degree teachers have requested that they should provide public examination work within 8 km from their residence.
In the Tamil Nadu school education syllabus, Plus 2 general exam will be started on March 13 and Plus 1 general exam on March 14. Preparations for this are underway.
In this case, the appointment of teachers for the posts of room supervisor, flying squad, standing squad etc. in the general examination is going on.
In this appointment, the examination center is allotted based on the distance from the school where the teachers are working.
To this, the Tamil Nadu Postgraduate Teachers’ Association has protested. On behalf of the examination department, the Principal Education Officers have been instructed to allocate a center for the examination work based on the preference and priority of the teachers.
Therefore, the teachers are demanding that the examination center should be allocated only on the basis of their residential address without considering the address of the school where they work.
